Dressing Up An IMAGE

Story of Style!
Lady with the Bird Hat was drawn and etched into a copper plate and then printed many years before my young cousin responded to it with great interest. Since she liked it so much, I decided I would send a print to her. As I looked at this old image, I realized that it needed updating and a snappy appearance for the contemporary world. My objective was to give each woman a different appearance. It was a delightful and playful game, using eye-catching fabrics to dress up an etching.
