Never Plan Ahead!
I love an empty canvas.
I cherish odd things and unusual ideas. It almost does not matter to me what “object” gets me going and stirring my imagination. I cannot predict what offbeat items stimulate my mind's eye. I begin to wonder what kind of visual environment this oddity needs to accent its inherent beauty or its outrageous brashness. It is important that the background and surroundings do not compete but enhance the inherent drama of the image.
